Has anyone seen that great AT&T commercial where a man is interviewing little kids about whether fast is better than slow, two is better than one, and other benefits that AT&T claims for its cellphone service. Here it is below.
The actor is Beck Bennett and he was one of Doug Benson's guest last week. I did not recognize him at first but as soon as they said he was the straight man in the AT&T commercials I knew who he was right away. I am a big fan of the commercials. He sure got himself a good gig!

The weekend was a fast one as last week was also! We had beautiful weather in the 80's & 90's all weekend. Lisa and I are planning a little fun weekend getaway on Catalina Island. She has never been there before. We were checking out rooms and I must say they are very pricey in July when we want to go. We found a great hotel called the Catalina Island Inn that we made reservations for the weekend after July 4th. We found it cheaper to go on a Sunday then they don't make you book 3 days like they do if you want to go there on a Friday or a Saturday during the Summer. It has a great view and is so quaint looking this hotel. We booked a family room for Lisa, Paul, Justin & Natasha. Chris and I booked seperate rooms since they had no double queen rooms available on Sunday 7/7 and it is kind of nice to have a room to yourself anyway.
My 6 day odyssey of working at the hospital is over until Friday! I worked from Wednesday until Monday night. Last night was my weekly "Doug Loves Movies' podcast show at the UCB Theater and tonight we are going to his "Movie Interruption" at the Cinefamily Theater on Fairfax. He will be interrupting Beautiful Creatures which I honestly have never even heard of? It co-stars Jeremy Irons, Viola Davis, Emma Thompson and Emmy Rossum. And the description is a TwilItight-ish romantic fantasy. I think this will be really fun one to interrupt. Next Thursday he is interrupting Safe Haven that one I have heard of. It is my first Movie Interruption since my vacation. I missed 2 of them Cloud Atlas and The Last Stand so I am very excited.
Kim is helping me transfer all my files out of cPanel that is from my host to a FTP that she uses so she can help me to that. I have graphics a go go! If anyone has followed me for very long knows I had dozens of themes. I had many custom themes made for me throughout the years. Once I get them I can see how or if I can add them to blogger the backgrounds and headers. I will need help from either Annie, Toni or Darylynn who all have added their own graphics. I still have my hosting until November but my WP blog is down until the beginnimg of the month when it resets the bandwidth and at that time I will just add a "moved" sign on there and this link.
Happy Monday! We had very warm temps in the 80's over the weekend and it even got up to 93 in Burbank on Friday. My weekend went very fast working but Friday night all the kooks were calling me at the Hospital. Some of the questions they asked we crazy!!
Sunday I picked up Chinese take out and headed to the kids house. It had been about 2 weeks since I had seen them. Paul installed a new visor clip for me in my car. It had broke a few weeks ago and it was driving me crazy. I really didn't want to have to deal with the dealer so I googled 2002 Ford Focus visor clip and it took me to eBay so it cost $5.50 inc. shipping. You can't beat that. I love eBay!
I am really happy using blogger. It is a lot easier than I anticipated. I added a weather gadget, blog roll, Flickr badge and Network Blogs very easily. I found a cute website that offers free headers and backgrounds for blogger and they even make custom themes for a fee. I have so many themes from all my years on Word Press that I really need to sift through them and see what I can come up with, so for now I will use this generic one.
This is my first post in my new home! My other blog seems to be having problems someone seems to have hacked my hosts account and is using my bandwidth! Now this is what I think has happened! I don't know what my host thinks? I just refuse to pay anymore money for bandwidth that was eaten up in less than 24 hours so here I am. I am going to need help from you all that use blogger to fix my new home up a little.
This is a working weekend for me but on Sunday after work I am picking up Chinese take out and will have dinner with the kids. Have a great weekend!
