I am posting this for the bloggers that are not on Facebook. I just got off from the vets office and the news is not good. Billy has intestinal cancer, what the Dr felt was a a swollen lymph node. So Billy will stay at home and as long as I feel he is comfortable. He is still eating, drinking and purring which is a good thing! Thanks for all your support! I took this picture of him last night. It is going to take me a while to wrap my head around this bad news. So when I am feeling stronger I will post again.

Good News/Bad News
Most of you know from Facebook my Billy Elliot has had sudden weight loss so I took him to the Vet's on Monday we did blood, urine and an X-ray's he also received an IV he was dehydrated. The Dr on the initial exam thought he felt something in his tummy. The good news is nothing showed up in the x-ray and the blood and urine tests. Most everything has been ruled out thyroid, diabetes, kidney failure, UTI's, renal failure, an infection. But the bad news is the Dr. said there has to be something going on to explain his body deterioration. That hit me hard on Wednesday morning when I heard that. So we will do an Ultra Sound on Tuesday it is possible he said for an x-ray not to pick up a mass or tumor. Please pray for my Billy I don't want to loose him yet. He just turned 12 years old in April.

Yay 3 Days Off!
At 5:00 tonight I am on an official 3 day weekend!! Tonight I am meeting the kids at Don Cuco Mexican Restaurant for dinner. I had mentioned in my last post that the cable company will be coming out tomorrow to add some new equipment at no charge. I am very excited about that. They will be there between 10-12 and I have some errands to run and some deep cleaning to do. So nothing else to exciting.
Sunday we have 2 shows at Cinefamily Theater in Hollywood one is at 1:00 PM which will showcase the Vine videos which is an app on cell phones that so many talented actors, comedians and regular people have been posting to. So for the first L.A. celebration of this new six-second medium, they are going to explore Vine’s best-of-the-best (and strangest-of-the-strange) with special live guests Steve Agee, Adam Goldberg, James Urbaniak, Marlo Meekins and Ian Padgham! Afterwards we are going to Canter's Deli for a late lunch and I am going to get some goodies from their deli and bakery to take home. Then we are going back to Cinefamily for The Phynx hosted by actor comedian Patton Oswalt at 10:00 PM. Patton Oswalt’s long been the kind of smart, passionate filmic crate-digger we love to hang with — and he’s back in the house to present the first L.A. 35mm screening in ten years of The Phynx: a most curious curio from the death throes of old-school Hollywood, back when it was desperately clutching for the post-Easy Rideryouth market. Pop quiz: name the movie that stars Richard Pryor, Colonel Sanders and Busby Berkeley all in the same 90 minutes? This bubblegum pop parody/sub-Get Smart Albanian spy caper/world’s record attempt for most cameos in a single flick very quickly came and went, with no home video release on any format until just a few months ago. The Phynx is not just an avalanche of cameo porn — it’s a cameo porno holocaust, with crusty stars of yesteryear crammed in next to Baby Boomer hepcats, The Phynx is a theatrical experience Seventies civilians were simply unprepared for (and we’re not too sure we’re yet prepared for it today either!) It sounds so good to us! So that is going to be a busy day and a late night.
Monday first thing I have my annual physical and then will go next door for my blood work. Monday night we have Doug Benson's Movie Interruption back again at Cinefamily of the movie Now You See Me. A movie that I wanted to see and heard was pretty good so we will see how much fun the guests make of it on the couches in front with mics in their hands. Now You See Me stars Jesse Eisenberg, Mark Ruffalo, Woody Harrelson, Common, Isla Fisher, Michael Caine & Morgan Freeman. What a great cast!
Have a great weekend and see you back on Tuesday or Wednesday.

Roll With the Punches!
I am getting very excited for my 3 day weekend! So many plans and so much fun ahead! I was suppose to get my haircut last night but Mario texted me with a picture of the nail shop 2 doors down that caught on fire overnight so there was no power or water and it smelled really bad he said so I am suppose to get my hair cut tonight after work. Afterwards I am going to swing by the kids house they are just blocks from the salon. I was there last week but we missed going to Don Cuco Mexican Restaurant for our Friday night dinner. We are going this Friday though.
A few more changes at the Hospital which I am not happy about besides the cutting of the per diems hours! We are no longer allowed to request any holiday's off even us per diems!! At one time as a per diem we could just say we are not available and have any day off including holiday's so supposedly that has been changed? I really don't think so but I am not going to take a day off and go to HR about it. I am not a happy camper I have gone on trips before during the New Year's holiday. We are expected to work 3 holidays a year to include one Christmas Eve, Christmas, New Years Eve and New Years day! Full time are expected to work 4 holidays. I have already worked New Years Day this year and will work Labor Day. So I will only have one more to work and hopefully when they put the Holiday list up I will have a chance to work at least some decent hours on Christmas if I have to. I would much prefer working New Years Eve or day so we will see what happens. All I can say is that I am lucky the kids moved back because I use to spend the holidays at their house. Thanksgiving and Christmas. I will roll with the punches I guess?

Happy Monday!
We are still having unseasonably cool weather since July now more like our June weather. I have this new Grumpy Cat App on my iPhone that I love! Here is what the weather is right now here where I work in Arcadia and at home in Burbank.
This week is going to be a light comedy week no shows until this weekend. I have my nails tonight and tomorrow night I am getting a haircut. I am looking forward to a 3 day weekend. I have my annual Dr's appointment on Monday so I decided to take Sat & Sun off at the hospital and make it a nice long weekend. We have 2 fun shows on Sunday at Cinefamly in Hollywood and Saturday I have the cable people coming out to give me a new faster WiFi modem for my computer at no charge and a another DVR at no charge. I have a new bundle that will drop my cable bill down by $21 a month and I will have faster internet speeds 45Mbps and 3 DVR's for the price of one. I still have all the movie channels also. They are no longer making us have contracts and mine was up next month so they now have very competitive prices and a lot more equipment options. My land line phone is just $19 a month which is all included. Very cool!

Locked Out!
Happy Monday! We had another wonderful weekend weather-wise, low 80's all weekend long. It is still unseasonable cool for us in So Cal. Friday is was just Paul & I for dinner at Don Cuco Mexican restaurant. I had their delicious Chicken Caribbean Salad. Grilled chicken, pineapple, tomato, sliced avocado, raisins, black beans, pico de gallo and Monterrey jack cheese over crisp iceberg lettuce. Served with a vinaigrette dressing and garnished with crispy tortilla chips.
Saturday and Sunday were really busy at the Hospital so it went very fast. Sunday I got off at 4:15 and the plan was to make a baked potato and veg out in bed and watch all my Sunday's shows. Dexter, The Newsroom, Ray Donavan & Unforgettable. Well I put my key in more door and it would not unlock? I used the second key I have hidden outside and a still no go! I then called Paul and luckily he was home so Lisa and him came over and he brought his drill to drill open the lock. So I can just will have to lock the deadbolt until he gets me another door lock set today and install it tonight. This door lock set are only a few years old. He had replaced it after my door lock of over 20 years finally broke and in the same way I was locked out. I guess they just don't make them as good as the use too. The bummer is I have cute designer keys for my door and about 9 people have them. So I will be busy this weekend making new keys again for everyone. All I can say I am so happy I have Paul to the rescue a locksmith would of cost a fortune and who knows how long it would of taken to get to my house?? So I only missed about an hour of relaxation. Paul and Lisa hung around for awhile.
