Change.....

I have good days and bad days since Billy has been gone. It has only been since Friday  4 days. I was suppose to go to my weekly show in Hollywood tonight after work "Doug Loves Movies" and I was dreading it all day today. I am just not in the right frame of mind yet I guess? I think I need a little more time? So Lisa invited me over for a BBQ tonight and I am going to go over there for dinner after I stop home and check on Lily. Tiffany moved out on Sunday making it  a double whammy. I miss her also. Even though we didn't see a lot of each other she was there every night after she got off work and when I got ready for work in the morning I knew she was there. The house feels so empty and Lily is feeling it too. It is just all about change!

On a brighter note I am really looking forward to my new kitty in a little less than 2 weeks now. I have to do some kitty shopping this weekend. Since I have a 2 story place and I spend more time upstairs so do my cats so I will get a little cat box and put it upstairs and I feed my new kitties up there also and I will need kitty food instead of the food I feed Lily. A new collar of course and a tag. Even though they are indoors I do that in case of any emergencies that could happen and they somehow got out. I am really excited about her! And thank you all for the name suggestions on Facebook. I have a few in mind that were suggested but will wait until I bring her home and get a feel which name will fit her. The names I am thinking about are Lola suggested by Joe, Darylynn and Jessica. Rosie suggested by Denise and Lucy which I thought might be cute too?

Hi Dru! Awww, I love the name Lucy! ;) She would have the same name as our kitten.

I'm sorry that Tiffany is moving out. Thankfully you will have the new baby to keep you busy and company. Hope you had a good Tuesday and enjoyed the BBQ.

Big hugs!

I'm sorry about your loss Dru. It's so sad, I can understand you would want to stay in. I think your new kitty looks like a Lou Lou not sure how to spell the feminine Lou Lou. She is very very cute. I can't wait to see what her name will be. Have a nice evening hugs

Hi Dru, I met with my grief counselor and she said when we lose someone that meant a lot to us, it takes time to grieve the loss. We should not put a time table on it. We have to experience the pain and find ways to move forward. So yes there are up and down days. A new baby will help for sure! Hugs

I think she looks like a Lucy to me.
So do my grandkids.
Now we will all be looking forward to her coming to live with you.
Enjoy kitten shopping!
Have a wonderful rest of the week.
I will be off for a few days for the holidays.

Hi Dru;

Grief is the natural order after losing someone/pet that you loved. I'm so glad you decided to get a new little furbaby. I like the names LuLu & Lucy but you're right, once you have her in your arms I think a name will come naturally. Have a good day ahead & weekend my friend. Hugs
